The power of this workshop was in the passion of the presenter and her willingness to bend the genres of speech, OT, PT, and teaching. <br />-I knew within the first 15 minutes of the presentation that I was not going to fall asleep with this speaker!<br />-Everything was great! The handout with pictures, charts, and space for notes is excellent!<br />-It was sooo good! I wish my whole staff could have heard this!<br />-Marvie was able to relate her information across all disciplines and really inspired me to share this information with my teachers.<br />-The following school day I applied what I learned from Marvie's seminar with my children with autism in the classroom. Typically, the children are unresponsive to me and not interested in the daily activities. But after I tried some of Marvie's techniques, I was stunned at the results. So much so, that I got another teacher to witness the children's increase in alertness and awareness. They were smiling....at me!<br />-The best one day seminar I've been to in 26+ years in the schools! Practical, easy to follow info!<br />-Organized, clear, aware of the needs of the audience, very well informed, authentic, personal & humorous!<br />-Thanks so much, one of the best speakers I've ever listened to!<br />-I wish she would come live and work here!<br />-When I heard she was coming, I brought four of my parents to hear her. They hugged and thanked me afterwards!
